How to Enable Pen drive in windows 7 & 8

When you insert your pen drive and you get no response from your pc then you need to follow this post for Enabling you USB drive. This post will help you for Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows vista, Windows 8 and windows 8.1 . 
There are two easy ways which i know which can help you to Enable your disabled pen drive. 
First way -
Open RUN and then type   devmgmt.msc and click ok, now in device manager right click on any of universal serial bus controller which is disabled.  You can also see this in below pictures.



And the second way is by means of Registry editing-
To Enable pen drive from Registry editor first open registry editor form RUN. Type Regedit in RUN and press ok to open Registry editor. Now in This editor Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor this address  , and now in this address right click on modify and change the value to 3 and click ok. Now you pen drive is enabled. You can check it.
To disable you pen drive type 4 on place of 3 and click ok.
