To see wifi password in windows 8 you need to follow a simple procedure which can help you to see password of wifi, but you can only see password of wifi which is connect at the present time by this procedure and to see password of any saved wifi password which is offline you need to follow another method.
So here is the procedure--
Move your cursor in right corner of window and open settings, In "settings" click on "Networks" which in side of sounds then right click on "connected wifi" and then click on "view connection properties" and then click on "show characters".
this method can be show as- settings>networks>connected wifi network>view connection properties>show characters.
There are some more methods to see wifi password which are show below--
Type "Network and sharing " in start menu
then open it you will find it in "setting" which is in right side of start menu,
Now there are to types of settings by which you can see your password ,
first one is click on Wi-Fi (NAME OF WI-FI) click on it and then click on "wireless properties" which is in between of screen. In wireless properties click on securities which is another tab in wireless properties. In securities you will see black dots on the place of password then click on show character which in just below of black dots. Now you can see the password.
Or if you are unable to find wifi then there is another way to see password which is this one below-
After reaching 'network and sharing" center open "change adapter setting" which in left side of window. Then double click on wifi and now same procedure as above mentioned which is here-- {click on "wireless properties" which is in between of screen. In wireless properties click on securities which is another tab in wireless properties. In securities you will see black dots on the place of password then click on show character which in just below of black dots}
